Future Tablescape!

Say "Hello" to the first members of my future tablescape!! (drool)

Dear Apothocary Jars:
Oh how I have longed to own you...and all of your friends. My future tablescape would not be complete without you. I plan on adding a 3rd friend to the group soon! TJ Maxx had you first, but for only $14.99 and $9.99 you are now ALL mine!! I plan to fill you with wonderful moss, twigs, etc...anything that screams outdoors and Summertime. The cute little bird is part of my vision as well... and so are these CA-UTE prints by L. Herbert Designs. I ordered these two.... Can't wait to group you all together!!! Yippeee!!

3rd Grade Land Run

Last Friday was Blake's 3rd grade land run reenactment. For those of you that are not familiar with this...it's a day of "Pioneer" games, butter making, square dancing...and the land run reenactment.
All the kids line up and when the whistle is blown, the kids run as fast as they can to the other end of the football field and "stake their claim".

Our neighbor, Grace, came along with us and enjoyed watching Blake. Once they had their claim staked out, they laid out a blanket and had a picnic lunch. After that we had to take the wagon and head to the car. It was fun and Blake enjoyed having us there to watch him.

I'm Just Say'in

CA-UTE Flower Clips!!

I came across this post at A Feathered Nest (go check it out). It's a tute (tutorial) for some fabulous flower clips. I was smitten! I want one...no, I want 20!!! I'm not sure about the one in my hair...but I could definately jazz up an Old Navy t-shirt with one (or 20).

Yippee!!

3rd Grade Land Run

This year is Blake's year for the 3rd grade Land Run reenactment. We missed Laynie's because we were in Jamaica (sigh) getting married that year, so we are happy to be here and have the kids with us this week so we can take part! The festivities start tomorrow and include making butter, square dancing, "pioneer games", Land Run, stake claims, etc... it's pretty cute!
Last night Clint and Blake had to make a wagon for the Land Run. They did an excellent job!

More pics tomorrow!!
