Baseball is Back!

Well last night was Blake's first machine pitch baseball game. The boys did really well, but it was definately an adjustment from T-ball!! They lost 3-1, but they weren't too upset. At this age, they don't even seem to ask if they won or lost. :)
The wind was blowing about 25mph... straight at the stands. It was cold and dusty! Gotta love Oklahoma!!
He has another game this Thursday. Maybe I can get some video without it sounding like i'm standing in a wind storm!!

American Idol Recap!

American Idol: Ok America... start your tractors! Kristy Lee Cook is on her way back to the farm! Maybe now she can buy her beloved horse back! Poor girl! Last night she murdered "8 Days a Week". I really felt like all that performance was missing was a few square dancers in the background!

On to David Hernandez!!! Funny how, in his interview before he sang, there was no mention about his job as a stripper in an all male club! I thought his rendition of "I Saw Her Standing There" was a little like being in the church choir! His dance moves left a lot to be desired as well! Poor guy.. I guess it's back to taking his clothes off!

Give BIG or go HOME!

I hope all of you are as adicted to Oprah's Big Give, like Clint and I are! It's inspired us to look into ways we can GIVE BIG in our community as well! Last night our favorite was the team of three guys that got together to help the Denver Childrens Home. If you click on the link you can see what their donations have helped bring to the home.
All of these stories (I hope) should inspire you to be a giver! We are all able to give... in some way to really change the lives of those less fortunate.

Snow in March?

OKay, so they said we have a 20% chance of LIGHT snow today! What in the world? It was like a blizzard. Granted it only lasted 10 min and none of it stuck... but still, snow in March?

New Bow Holders

Last night I worked on these cute bow holders. I found the cute wooden cherries and apple and then added some bling, ribbon, and a wall hanger... and ta-da! www.sewcuteandcrafty.com
