New Beds, Yippee!

Last Saturday they delivered our new mattresses! We now have a king, Blake has a queen, and Laynie has a full. The guest bedroom is all set up too. Stephanie was our first guest. Her power has been out because of the ice, so she stayed over last night.
Blake really loves his bed. He can't get over how big it is. He said that now that he has a big bed that I can sleep with him whenever I want. :)
Laynie's bedroom is so cute. We have not been able to put her bedding on until now and it came together really well!

BRRRRRR!!!!!!

Just in time for Christmas. Ice, snow, and freezing rain... my favorite. ha ha.
It started last Sunday and I'm ready for it to be over. As you can tell by the pictures, it has been rainy and cold!

Decorating the tree

After getting our 10 foot tree in and settled, we got right to decorating. Clint decorated the fountain and I had fun with our new wreaths. I don't know what I'm going to do when I have to take all the decorations down! The house will seem so bare. Maybe I will leave them up for a while! ha ha.

Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree!!

Last weekend we went to a Christmas Tree Farm in Edmond and picked out a tree. It was very cold and wet, as you can tell by the rain on my camera. We had fun walking all over the farm looking for the perfect one. Once we found it, the little guy in the golf cart came and cut it down for us. The video is of us watching him saw it down.

Blake's Christmas Program

Last night was Blake's 2nd grade Christmas program. It was really cute. There were SO many people packed in that little caffeteria. I didn't get very many pictures, but we did video it. Here is a clip from my camera's video. He's in the front. Oh, and he had a speaking part too. He was so nervous, but he remembered all of it!

Been A Long Time

Sorry I have not been keeping up with the blog lately! Between Christmas decorating, kids programs, shopping & cleaning, it's been crazy busy! I'm so excited to see my family! I can't believe it's just a week away!
Tonight we are taking the kids to cut down a Christmas tree. It's 40 outside and drizzling right now, so that should make the adventure even more interesting.
This weekend we get our new mattresses. We are all excited about that. That means we get to finally put up our new king bed, Blake gets his queen, and Laynie hers too. Very exciting!
Well, that's all for now... I just got back in the office from locking my keys in my car! Love when I do that! ha ha.

My latest

This is my latest addition... the Princess Tutu! They are really "hot" right now. I made this one for Izzy. She will LOVE it! I put it on Etsy.com. My website (www.sewcuteandcrafty.com) will be up after the 27th. In the meantime, I'm working away on things to have on there!!!
